Our school community was devastated at the loss of our beloved secretary, Margaret Brown. Margaret lost her very brave battle with her illness in the early hours of Saturday 12th November 2016. She brought grace, dignity, glamour and fun to Ferrybank Boys’ National School. She exuded kindness and discretion in all her dealings with the boys and their parents and was a steadfast support to the principal and all the staff. She lived each day to the full and that is her legacy and challenge to all of us. We extend our deepest sympathy to Margaret’s family and friends. We miss her gentle presence.
