This September 5th Class were busy making 3D cacti with sponges, toothpicks, string and a balloon as part of their STEM challenges. They also made clay buildings to try with-stand hurricanes as they learned about buildings and which types of buildings survive which conditions. As part of this, they also looked at 9/11 footage and the events that happened on that day. The boys researched about the Maya on the iPads. They played a ball game with armour. They ate corn, squash, potatoes and chilli peppers. Evan brought in a baby ram’s horn for the class to see. It was very hollow and cool. They drew zentangle art with their hands- some of our students are very talented!
